The Mars A-B-Y Compensator is a great little A/B out box that is designed to offer balance and boost as a direct point of entry for running two amp systems. The battery powered Compensator offers a very nice + or - 8db Boost. Put the Compensator in front of your effects and then to amp and you can regulate the db output to give shape to the overall output as you choose. There is a manual switch that is A+B, or control either A or B outs with the footswitch.
Note ****** Even if you do not always run a two amp set up and still use this for the db Boost to give my sound more edge and a bit of extra crunch, so that alone is worth the price of admission here. *****
You get system switching capabilities along with a db Boost control and all for a great little price. Lower or raise the amp tone from the box so no walking over to the amp for minor adjustments !
